Building News Update 8/24/06
We continue to work toward zoning approval in the town of
Guilderland, ably represented by Mr. Dan Hershberg.
Please
contact us if you would like a detailed timeline of our efforts toward zoning
approval thus far.
In the meantime, construction materials and costs have risen considerably (due
to Katrina and oil costs etc) and we will need to launch Phase II of our
Building Fund campaign as soon as we have word on zoning approval and final plan
size and details.

Mr. Don Stracher of SRG - "Stracher, Roth
and Gilmore" in Schenectady NY is a long-time friend of Chabad and Shabbos House
and has offered his professional services to design the new Shabbos House. Among
the many projects he has been involved in include the
Albany International Airport, The
new Rennselaer Rail Station, historic Proctor's
Theater, and other prominent projects.
