While separate prayer services are available at UAlbany for the various Jewish denominations, all are welcome at Shabbos House. We emphasize that which we can share and celebrate together. Shabbos House is a place "where Every Jew is Family!"

Regional & National CHABAD
Shabbos House is part of the Capital Chabad - The Capital Region's Jewish Educational and Communal Outreach Network. We are a Chabad House, affiliated with the National Foundation for Chabad on Campus, but we are independently run and financially supported.

UALBANY HILLEL
We’re blessed at UAlbany that Shabbos House (Chabad) and the University at Albany Hillel, while distinct and separate organizations, enjoy a unique cooperative relationship greatly benefiting the students and creating a true sense of community.

UNIVERSITY AT ALBANY
Shabbos House is an independent Student Center serving the Jewish students at UAlbany, and is unaffiliated with the University and does not receive any funding from the University. The L'chaim Student Group, which works closely with Shabbos House is Student Association recognized and funded.
