Mr. Mendel Feldman, a professional violinist was in town visiting his ailing father (Mr. Murray Moshe Feldman who has since passed away) and graciously agreed to join our Jamming Night and play a number of songs. Being that he was close friends with Shlomo Carlebach and played with him for a number of years, he very masterfully played a number of melodies we're familiar with. The violin he used dates back to 1741! Guys hummed and strummed along, and everyone was really into it, especially when he played a heartfelt "prayer" for his father as his finale.

Another special guest at our Jamming Night was Mr. Michael Cohen, a fun lawyer active at Cong. Shomray Torah on New Scotland Ave. He brought along his flute, several tabougas drums, and other Oriental and Middle-Eastern instruments and specialties. He really jingled and spiced things up.

This informal meal is actually a tradition called "melava malka" - farewell to the Shabbos. The meal is the tradition, the pizza is our own twist.
