National Chabad on Campus Shabbaton
Presidents Weekend Feb 18-20 2005

Join Rabbi Mendel and Raizy for an exciting National Shabbaton in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, with hundreds of students from participating campuses all across the country.

A weekend-long program is planned, beginning Friday Night Feb 18th through Sunday afternoon Feb 20. While the whole program is recommended for the full experience, there may be opportunities to join us in part, be in touch with us for details.

In addition, this is a unique opportunity to visit the Crown Heights Jewish community, spending Shabbat at a host family, and a tour of numerous local institutions including the handmade Matzah Bakery, Chassidic Art Gallery, Mikvah, the all new state-of-the-art Jewish Children’s Museum, the Rebbe's Library and more.

The cost for the weekend will be $36. (Some subsidies are available, but only a few, be sure to contact Rabbi Mendel if the $36 is an issue). You can use your own transportation (its in NY..) or we have a 15 passenger van available. We should be able to work out transportation at no additional cost.

Participating Campuses include UAlbany, Arizona State, Babson , Baruch, Boston University, Brandeis, Brooklyn Law, University of Chicago, Carnegie Mellon University, Columbia, Denver, Duke, Hartford, Illinois (Urbana-Champaign), McGill (Canada), Miami, Michigan, NYU, Ohio State, Penn, Penn State, Pittsburgh Polytechnic, Pratt, Queens College, Rochester (U of R and RIT), Stony Brook, Syracuse University,  Toledo, UC Berkeley, UCONN, UCSB, UMass, USC, Virginia, Wellesley... hundreds of students will be participating!
