an enjoyable & informational evening on substance abuse awareness co-sponsored by the L'chaim Student Group (SA funded), Shabbos House Jewish Student Center and the University at Albany Hillel

featuring Kosher Sushi, Mocktails and a light buffet with an entertaining, informative talk and discussion with Peter Gerstenzang expert Albany substance abuse attorney

Sunday, February 27th, 6:30pm at Shabbos House

Zohar helps these freshmen roll their own Sushi rolls.. so many choices! A good laugh and a great plate of Sushi, craisin cole-slaw and garlic-soy pasta.
If not for Zohar and Steve.. Here Zohar displays a roll before its rolled in its mat, he rolled rolls for hours, and made enough sushi to feed an army. Those rolls were pleasing to the eye and to the palate.. superb! Steve came by and rolled a whole bunch (and then came back late to clean-up) He also got the special sweet-rice seasoning from a Kosher place he works at in Westchester
Here's a tray of vegetable sushi with soy sauce in the center Mocktails: A Punch-Bowl, Jello-Shots and a bucket of ice.
Dmitry Dovid Kutyarevsky rolls his own sushi Emily does a fine job using chopsticks
Expert Albany Attorney Peter Gerstenzang gives an entertaining, informative talk on substance abuse... first on alcohol, and how (and how much) it affects us. And later also on drugs and how they disable our capacity to enjoy life.
Michele Adler, L'chaim Treasurer, emceed the evening. Following his talk folks chatted with Mr Gerstenzang on a variety of topics.
So, where to begin... A bunch of Sushi Platters... in the works..

The idea for this "Roll Your Own" event originated at UF Chabad at Gainesville.
