Rabbi
Levi Kaplan (a long-time friend and Yeshiva
classmate of Rabbi Mendel) will lead spirited, energized, supercharged prayer services
on Friday Night (3/16 6pm @ Shabbos House) and Shabbat morning (3/17 at
10am @ Chapel House).After Friday Night Shabbat dinner (3/16) at Shabbos House, he will farbreng/kumzitz/oneg with us, with songs, stories, humor and warmth. All are welcome to hang out and enjoy for a few minutes or a few hours.
Rabbi Levy Kaplan is a graduate and ordained by the central Lubavitch Yeshiva in Brooklyn. Rabbi Kaplan is a dynamic and animated teacher and educator, and has been director of ILTSP (the Ivy League Torah Study Program (for college students in the Catskill Mountains) since 2000. Rabbi Kaplan is also a professional cantor and has officiated at many congregations in the US and abroad.
Rabbi Kaplan is here with us as part of the "SuperShabbat" weekend, to be followed by Rabbi Simcha Weinstein - the Comic Book Rabbi - on Sunday at the Bagel Brunch.
