Dr. Setzen is an ENT specialist in the "Albany ENT & Allergy" practice at 1375 Washington Ave, across State Quad. He is also the current President of Temple Israel on New Scotland Ave, near St. Peter's Hospital. He and his wife Karen are active in the Bet Shraga Hebrew Academy where their children attend, and in numerous communal organizations and projects.

Rabbi Mendel and Raizy got to know Dr. Setzen as patients in his medical practice, and at events in the local Jewish community. Originally from South Africa, Dr. Setzen is humorous, intelligent and passionate with deeply rooted Jewish-isms.

Dr. Setzen will speak for the traditional 10 minutes during the meal and follow-up with an Oneg after dinner, to which all are welcome to stay on, participate and enjoy.
