Farewell to Sukkot 5765 /'04
at Shabbos House
see Sukkah Building Page
The Sukkah as visible from the side, small tent is visible in front. We had a lot of green this year, adding to the Sukkah "feel". The Sukkah as seen from the walk from campus (towards the back). Large tent is visible in front. You can also see our new roof.
For the final farewell to the holiday, a group of students and graduate students, alumni, friends and galperin family following the Havdalah ceremonies. It is also a farewell to Chaim Spilman who will be serving in Iraq. We wish him well!
Danyell and Shana helped out a lot with takedown, sending Schach flying, and wrapping up the tent lights for another year. Goodbye to the Sukkah on Sat Night Shabbos Breishis. Some students, a student friend, an alumnus and two Galperin brothers. Sam's always on top. Note the straightness of the crossbeams this year, which were screwed in (instead of nailed) on the narrower side for better strength.
