Passover 5765/2005
at UALBANY and Shabbos House Student Center

For many years now, the University at Albany is off for the Seders, including the first two days of Passover. (Note: This may change in the future as the University reviews its holiday policies). In the past ten years, while Shabbos House has not hosted the Seders, we have hosted the 7th and 8th days of the Pesach Holiday when students are back from UAlbany's Passover break. This year we're on for the Seders, too!

Seders and First Days of Passover

If you are going home for the first Days/Seders - wonderful! This is an important time to be with family.

For those students staying up in Albany, Shabbos House will be hosting the Seders and Holiday Meals, for the first time in a decade. See below for detailed schedule. Please RSVP 438-4227 mail@shabboshouse.com for these meals so we can prepare accordingly, as most students will be away.

Intermediate Days of Passover

Kosher Dining at Dutch Quad which offers a year-round Kosher meal-plan, sells special tickets for those who want to enjoy Passover meals there. Those with the Kosher Meal Plan do not need to purchase any tickets. This option opens on Tuesday 4/26.

Kosher Dining at Dutch (under the supervision of the Vaad Hakashruth of the Capital District) is open to the community as well. For more information and to RSVP for Kosher Dining please call the Dutch Quad Dining Manager at 442-5978.

7th & 8th Days of Passover

Shabbos House Jewish Student Center celebrates with festive holiday meals and prayer services during the finals days of the Holiday. Kosher for Passover Dinners and Lunches are served following prayer services beginning Friday Night 4/29 through Sunday 5/1.
