Chanukah '07 begins Tues Night 12/4 & runs thru Wed afternoon 12/12

11/27: Pre-Chanukah Torah Tuesdays & Holiday Packet-Packing
film to be shown: "Challenge" an inspiring, lightly humorous film of the Rebbe's teaching
to go beyond the expected, and do the extra step.

12/4: L'chaim's Hot Latke Table
11am-2pm outside the Campus Center near the Small Fountain
warm-up with a hot latke in Albany's winter, get Chocolate Gelt, box of candles, a Menorah etc..

12/4: First Night of Chanukah & Torah Tuesdays
8:30pm at Shabbos House, with dairy dinner and Latkes!
Ariel Lipper (graduating graduate student) to present
on "Represent!" - being Jewish in a secular world.

12/5: Grand Menorah Lighting & Latke Eating Contest
Wednesday Night 7:30pm in the Campus Center Commons (across Dreidels Cafe)

12/6: UAlbany Unity Dinner - celebrating Multi-Faith Winter Festivals
Campus Center Ballroom 5pm, sponsored by a variety of campus faith groups

12/7: Shabbat Chanukah Friday Night at Shabbos House
Prayers 6pm at Chapel and Shabbos Houses
All welcome for special Chanukah-Shabbat Dinner at Shabbos House 7pm
good food, celebration, good times..

12/8: Chanukah Shabbat Lunch... Havdalah & Menorah
Shabbat Minyan 10am at Chapel House
"Parsha and a Prayer" for women 11:30am at Shabbos House
Lunch 1pm at Shabbos House
Havdalah and Menorah Lighting at Shabbos House 5:15pm

12/9: Pre-Reading Day Midnight Breakfast & Menorah
Sunday Night 10pm-12pm at Shabbos House:
play dreidel, light your Menorah, enjoy waffles and ice-cream, breakfast foods and short films.

We got a set for you! Menorahs and candles are available at the L'chaim Hot Table at Campus Center's Small Fountain on 12/4 or anytime from the Shabbos House Student Center: 438-4227.
