Chanukah 2007 Chanukah 1st Night and Ariel Lipper's "Represent!" class at Torah Tuesdays On Tuesday, the first night of Chanukah nearly 50 students came out to light their Menorahs, enjoy homemade hot Latkes, and a dairy dinner, and the last of the Fall 2007 "Torah Tuesdays" an exciting and relevant presentation by graduating Masters student Ariel Lipper. His topic was "Represent" and how it relates to being Jewish in a secular society, and how various ethnic, religious groups show pride in their heritage and traditions. His talk was animated, flowing and spiced with lively humor. |

| Instead of the usual 5:30 and 8:30 sessions, this Fall 2007 Torah Tuesday finale was 8:30 only and well-attended. Raizy fried up homemade Latkes, baked Lasagna, Greek Salad and more. Many took the opportunity to light Menorah at Shabbos House, especially if they were unable to do so in their dorm. | |
