| Each graduate received a special (pre-publication) edition of "A Taste of Shabbos House" - The Shabbos House Cookbook, with a personalized letter highlighting their accomplishments and contributions to Shabbos House and the UAlbany Jewish Campus Community. In addition to the Class of 2004, several others were recognized: Chaim Spilman, the Marzouk Family, and Desiree Rastegar, pictured below, and Michele Ginsburg, L'chaim (SA) board member who has been selflessly and quietly posting for events over an extended period of time. | |||

| Chaim Spilman ('02) is presented with a farewell presentation in honor of his call to duty in Fort Drum NY to prepare for deployment to Iraq in Fall '04. We all wish him the very best, with safety, good health and success in his mission. | Dan Marzouk ('01) got a promotion at Universal Underwriters (Zurich Financial) and together with his wife Atara ('02) and their sons Noach and Binyamin they are moving to Pittsburgh, after first settling in Albany. | Desiree Rastegar, here huggingh while not yet graduating, will be transferring to a NYC-area college this coming fall. | Malka Evan, a prominent, active leader in the Capital District Jewish Community, encouraged graduates to consider themselves "ambassadors" for Israel and Jewish community and to take the necessary steps (knowledge and involvement) to fulfill that role. | Raizy and Malka Evan, following her talk. | Among the gourmet delicacies (all prepared at Shabbos House) served at the Grad-Party: Sesame Chicken, Pepper-Steaks, Pasta Shells.. | This festive drink has become a tradition at Shabbos House Grad Parties. Sangria, wine soaked overnight with citrus fruits, is best mixed with fresca, seltzer or sprite. This year it was really a big hit. | Revi Hay ('04) and Raizy. | |
