Danny Mandel, Brad Legum and Mike Krufky, outside in the anteroom of the Marina del Ray leading into the Ballroom. For some reason (maybe lighting) most pictures we took at the wedding came out really dark, but these guys seemed to brighten up this shot. | Rabbi Mendel with Mr. Henry Shapiro, grandfather of Danny Levy. Mr. Shapiro is a descendant of the Koznitzer Maggid (product of the Friday Night dancing story, which Rabbi Mendel likes to tell). he spent the war years in Shanghai with Mendel AND Raizy's grandfathers and was a student of Rabbi Meir Shapiro, founder of Daf Yomi and the Chachmei Lublin Yeshiva. | |||||||||||||||

congregant pointed out a giant Kotel photo backdrop as a photo-op in the lobby of the synagogue. We couldn't pass this up, so we took the picture. |
