Approximately 60 alumni participated in the Shabbos House UAlbany Alumni
Reunion at the J-2 restaurant on Broadway in NYC on Sunday, August 24th,

Aryeh Gilbert (Class of 1999) who were visiting from Israel and R’ Pinchas
Schreiber, former Shabbos House director and UAlbany alumnus, who came from
Hartford CT with three of his children,
Levi, Mendel and Tamar.

Rabbi Mendel Rubin, current
Shabbos House Director (holding Sara Rubin) with Pinchas Schreiber, former
Shabbos House Director in the mid 1990's. At the reunion, Reb Pinchas spoke
and shared a story, prefaced by what appears to be an old tradition, Jason
Nadell tootling a herald to begin the story. |

Old friends milling about, enjoying the
time together. Thanks to all who came, making the event so special.
It was also a special opportunity to get in touch with many other alumni,
who were unable to make it,
but were pleased to get back in touch with Shabbos House and Jewish Life and
People at UAlbany. |
