LEFT: At Ronen Segal's wedding, UAlbany alumni pictured here from Left: Hershel (steve) Forst, Shaun Zeitlin, and Rabbi Mendel. Hershel is a CPA just about, Shaun has an accounting degree, but for now is teaching general studies to 8th grade Yeshiva kids. (Shaun has an exciting itinerary planned for summer, as usual, he'll be in Israel for some, and out mid-west etc for the other).

Regards from Alex Vugman. Alex returned to Israel for several months this year due to his father's untimely passing, and is now back (living in Crown Heights, with Israeli childhood friends) while trying to work his way up in the trader business. Ronen Segal and his newlywed wife Chana Raizel live in Crown Heights as well, while he trades for NYLife Securities in Manhattan.

RIGHT: Jeff and Rebecca (nee Seewald) Tepper (both UAlbany alumni)  visited Shabbos House over Graduation Weekend, and are pictured here with Mitch Greene.

Everyone's abuzz with Dave Muhlbauer's engagement (and got plenty of calls and e-mails why our website did not have it up right away...) see our alumni engagement page for a picture of the happy folks.

Scott and Faith Moscowitz (class of '88) chanced on  our website and called it "electrifying" we're trying to contact old alumni - please help us if you know of folks from before our time.

Mazal Tov to Aaron Blum on his Master's Degree from NYIT in Communications.

In the works: As Simchas Torah 5763 or 2002 falls on a weekend, we're looking into booking rooms at a nearby motel for alumni to return for an exciting weekend of celebration. We are still negotiating rates, and will contact everyone when we have more info. Last years' 13 alumni really added to our atmosphere and we look forward to making this a special reunion type event where folks from years past when can get together. Please let us know if you're interested so we can get some general idea of participants.
Regards from Dr. Alan Saunders, (while not an alumnus of UAlbany was) close to the community while at Albany Medical School. He's now a radiologist living in Livingston NJ, and with his wife Lori recently celebrated his son's bar-mitzvah.

Congratulations to Alan Rosen on his new novel "the Posideon Project". We attended a book signing of his at the University Bookstore. It's a fantastic adventure based on his research work with Dolphins.

Another Update from the Gilberts in Israel: Gregg just finished his basic training in the IDF and is now onto Miluim service. They sent us great pictures of their little one, which we hope to post soon.

Here's an e-mail from Gregg and Shara (and Arye Yosef) Gilbert - living now in Alon Shvut, Israel

"Shalom Shalom

I just wanted to send this message to one and all to say that we are okay, actually we are better then okay, we are doing very very well. Yosef Aryeh is doing great, getting cuter and cuter every day and Shara and I are actually getting sleep. What you see and read in the news about the situation is true, though I am sure they make it seem like we are doing all the attacking, without cause. We are in a very tough time right now, but for better of worse that is the reality of living in the part of the world, and we knew this before we even arrived here.

G-d willing this will end soon, we will crush our enemies and be able to live safe in our land, but it is going to be a bumby ride.

Got to get going now, Shalom Shalom,
Gregg"
